Keep up with the latest Bscotchappenings!
Heyo!

We've got a new inkscape timelapse up, walking through the re-creation of a Quadropus Artifact for the sequel. You can give it a look here: https://www.youtube.com/embed/-riYh2qWEx8

Thanks for posting these Sam. As a fledgling Inkscape user, these timelapses are super useful. I've been dedicating some serious time to this piece of software in hopes to get my asset creation time down to 30 minutes or less. Not there yet but noticing improvements!

PS: I used Inkscape to design the most recent shirt for my store. I figured it would be a good way to continue leveling up in the program while working on other projects.

HEYOO that's pretty good. Time with the tool is really all it takes, plus a keen eye for hotkeys and where you can optimize. Sounds like you're on the way!

Thanks Sam, I indeed took a page out of your book and customized the hotkeys to speed up my process. It's helped a lot as the default assignments to the "F" keys is not very intuitive.

Great shading. Reminds me of futurama.

Hey hey...I was WONDERING where I was seeing the art style. Futuramaesque. And when you mentioned cartoonish realism...that's Rick and Morty for sure.
