BRACE FOR IMPACT: The Crashlands Story

Just some talk about general Butterscotchy stuff here.
Good to know! I'll add it to the list of places for us to submit the film too.

Quick update: I was interviewed on the podcast Match 3 last night and the episode is out now. I talk about the film, working with the Costers, and the scene in St. Louis. Enjoy!

https://match3.simplecast.fm/ Episode #41. Shenanigans start at 15:30, but the whole episode is pretty great!

UPDATE:

It appears that myself (Alessio Summerfield) and the Executive Producer, James Reichmuth, will be on a PBS show here in the Midwest sometime soon discussing the film and showing off a clip from the film. We'll keep you all posted and we'll be uploading the clip for folks to check out / sharing the episode of that show.

Likewise, we just pulled the trigger on a Newsletter list for the film over at the website, so check that out here: http://braceforimpactmovie.com/contact/ or on the main page here: http://braceforimpactmovie.com

It's regional - http://techli.com/#.

But we may have some more super sweet announcements soon! Have had a couple really interesting phone calls in the last 24 hours. Will have some fun stuff soon.

Hey guys!!! Huge day today! We're opening the gates on our final push Kickstarter page! We're treating it as a pre-order platform and not begging for money. :D

There are some neat perks, and we are actually in the process of adding a few more, and we'll be posting some cool stuff in the Backer Blog portion mentioned in the perks.

Please share! Every little bit will help us tremendously!

How do you plan to advertise said Kickstarter to bring in a broader audience? With that being said would you mind if I post it on reddit to try and gravitate some more attention? While I can't help much money wise right now, I'd love to do what I can to help you guys get this out there.

The executive producer, James Reichmuth, and myself, are emailing and contacting a TON of national, regional, and local press, I'm contacting a ton of my film contacts and podcast contacts, and James is reaching out to his theater and writer contacts.

We'd love ANY and ALL support sharing this thing ALL over the place. Honestly, sharing and sending it all over would help us just as much as any financial contributions.

We've successfully raised 10% of our goal in 10 hours yesterday, so I think that we're off to a great start, but we need to keep the momentum going. Since we're just a two man team, outside of the actual technical work, I'm doing a lot of the promotional editing / website tweaking / podcast promoting, and James is all emails and calls all the damn time, so getting this thing in front of more folks would be a dream. I need to get the Discord going on my new laptop so that I can be on there and chat with all of you guys.

To celebrate the great launch day, we put together this small sneak peek. The longer, 14 minute, cut is available for folks via the Backer Blog when that goes live in a few weeks.

Enjoy!

Haha, absolutely.

Apologies for the radio silence, and STILL lack of Discord use (I need to look into if there's a phone app or something). I've been traveling as a freelancer for a TV show since last week, but things are coming along well!

We've got a new video showing off James and myself discussing what making the movie has been like. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geDAAJvPB3M

We'll keep you guys posted as things progress!
