I finally ordered a pi-top! https://pi-top.com/
I've been wanting one for a while so I can deploy a squadron of raspberry pi powered kiosks and toys around my work from a mobile workstation not beset with tons of cables.
A bonus is that the default image that comes with the pi-top OS has a game in it called CEED Universe which seems Crashlands-esque. The goal is to teach people to code in python through a survival game, so the crafting process requires actual coding. It could be lame, or it could be a really good start to something interesting. I'll report back once I'm into it a bit. Supposedly if I play it for six months I should more or less know all the python basics.
One thing that came up when I was reading about it was that the code generally used for building robots with a raspberry pi is baked into the game so that you can make in-game robots and rovers and stuff. It seems interesting! But it won't be as pretty/gross as crashlands...
