Yeah, if you have the space & lifestyle for a desktop, go that route. You can even order the parts and build your own! It's actually not very difficult.

I did it few times. But there was always one cable missing in the end :D

It's kinda like when you take something apart and put it back together, you always end up with three screws left over.

And everything works just fine!
But not in my cases. Once it was hard drive cable :D

Will it be an problem if I use different brands of components to build my own computer. And how will it be with installing windows ?!

No problem between brands but be careful about processor and motherboard compatibility, RAM compatibility too
And windows, get a version (buy or use your actual one). Installation is pretty straightforward
