What do the Polari think of Flux? Do they consider her to be a member of her own Pod (which has only her and her pets)? Do they think badly of her because of all the things she gathers, or respect her because she's gathering them to benefit her 'Pod'? Do they think less of her because of her spacesuit, or recognize that she can't take it off without dying (or do they think that it's part of her body)?

Good work on all of the races! I love how their ways of life work and clash with one another. It should be very interesting to watch. What do the polari think of the tendraam?

HEYO! Sorry for the quietness. We're going to let Sam answer these, since he's the Lore Master, once he feels up to it!

HEYO. I'm back from the dead. WITH SOME ANSWERS.

"What do the polari think of the tendraam?"
The Polari are ambivalent toward the Tendraam, since the floaty goat people don't do much in the way of battle or messing with other races (unlike those DAMN BRUBUS). Since most Polari culture revolves around selflessness and a devotion toward one's pod, the Tendraam's more lean lifestyle and zealousness for Maarla they find to be an honorable, though kind of confusing, thing.

"What do the Polari think of Flux?"
The Polari aren't given the luxury of judging Flux against their usual cultural ideals because she's one of the few entities that is clearly powerful enough to fend off Q. Your insights about how they WOULD think of her, given her constant hoovering up of materials and creation of sprawling bases, is spot on - normally this would be something they'd look down on. But the Polari aren't daft when it comes to cultural differences; there's a recognition that Flux is some OTHER creature, some other being, and that she's running by her own rules. The fact that she shows up shortly after Q has run amok and destroyed a number of Polari pods and offers a glimpse of salvation shuts up the Polari's xenophobia against this outsider and her weird ways. It may be that her different behavior is the only thing that can save them all in the end!

"What do the Polari think of Flux's pets?"
There are rumors of Polari pods that keep pets of their own, but such Old Pods have been largely forgotten and are only referred to in song and legend. Polari don't have anything against the taming of beasts in general, and their reverence for the natural world generally places them in a place of great respect with creatures. You wouldn't see a Polari with a leash and choker around a pet, but rather with an equal that walks alongside it. That is, if you saw one at all.

"What do the Polari think of Flux's space suit/skin?"
The Polari navigate by the stars but aren't familiar with the concept of space travel, and having never seen Flux without her suit on they simply believe it to be the form she has, glowy eyes and all. There are stranger sights on planet Woanope, for sure.

Are the polari distant relatives of the narwhals fighting the chik'rub?
Also, (if yes) how close is the narwhal's planet to Woanope (In relevance to how they got there in the first place - the Polari seem like space explorers)?

They aren't distant at all: it's the same narwhals! Their art got an overhaul, sinvestment their original game was just a weekend prototype.

Crashlands ties together nearly all of our games, but I won't spoil all the details here ;).
