Community DREAM Wishlist [Crashlands]

Talk about Crashlands with your fellow players here! NOT for advice and help.
Well finishing all the modes would be tedious. It would be better to just finish Insane since beating Insane means you can beat the easier modes.

Players might be able to create a map on the creator where Flux is on "gamemode 1" though.

Well, multiplayer is not only about servers, it's about coding and a game not balanced for multiplayer, so multiplayer Crashlands would be a "new" game. Too time-consuming and it would either be unbalanced (if adding room for other players in a game) or completely different than an original game (if balanced for multiple players), online or local multiplayer. Summing up to the max here though, search for "Multiplayer" on the forums, you'll have a ton of stuff about that.

And as Aeternus wrote, there would probably be a way to make a creative mode, except for the world by itself. I think a simple dialogue that gives a ton of everything would do it in the Creator. But this is an interesting idea ^^

The upcoming Creator is so awesome it could half grant some suggestions on this wishlist. (Well, I hope it does have alot of features).

The Creator is GONNA BE GOOD.

As for multiplayer: as long as people are using different devices to play in the same game the design/programming challenge is almost the same level of difficulty (adding servers to the mix does increase difficulty and cost further, but not nearly as much as allowing multiplayer in the first place).

Same-screen multiplayer is FAR more doable (probably 1/100th the effort, not even exaggerating) but still is an enormous design challenge.

Which is all to say, different-device multiplayer is 100% off the table and same-screen multiplayer is highly unlikely but not totally off the table for the future.

Please allow KILLING TOOMAH AGAIN... and again and again and again... or at least another 2 times. I hate diseases! I want to kill Toomah more than Hewgo (yeah I know hewgo messed up the planet & made conditions for toomah, & we do get to beat **him** 3x, but still). Because, it would be sui generus, that's why. Good afternoon everyone! I just want to say that this is an amazing game and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in it. Two things that I would like to suggest are:

1. Allow a skinning/costume system to your equipped armor and weapons. For example, I really like how the Karboan armor looks but obviouly the stats pale in comparison to the Lonsdaleite armor. So it'll be nice to have the high lvl gear with the look of some of the other armors.

2. Have a recipe that combines several Tenacity Memorials into an epic super crazy mega Tenacity Memorial. That'd be badass.

:( I died a alot...

Thanks for an awesome game! Oh and plus 1 for some sort of incentive for continual exploring of the map.

Hey what do you think about something like Creature Essence statues. Sounds strange I know. But it would be really cool if I have a room full of ALL creature essences in some kind of glass or so. :bslogo:

Edit: Oh I have another idea. I read it often here but I want to say it again: A SPEEDRUN OR SOME KIND OF ARENA WOULD BE REALLY REALLY COOL. 'Cause I love the bosses in the game. :bslogo:

A thing people could really like : vanity slots for armor
Would work like this - you have a second row of armor slots, in which you equip items only for cosmetic purposes, like when you wear an armor, but you don't like the looks of it and you wear another one in vanity slots, which is shown on Flux but doesn't give any bonuses

These are all super cool ideas!

We have toyed with the idea of vanity slots for armor, and it's definitely something we want to do. Currently our Crashlands programming manpower (me) is going 100% toward adapting the game for more platforms, though, and any remaining time I have is for bug fixing and making sure the creator will work for players, so unfortunately that kind of stuff has to go on the backburner for the time being.
