Roid Rage: some suggestions and stuff

This game is tiny and infuriating!
It may be a bit confuse sorry but here are some ideas (if you ever want to make Roid Rage a bit bigger):

Suggestions:
- Add a "Hard mode" with speed and juice value doubled?
- Also more customization, like engines that change the particle color (that would probably be pretty easy to implement)
and maybe even the speed and the handling of the vessel?
- Tricky roids shapes (not only round ones)?
- Specific modes to unlock? Like "Only big roids", "High velocity roids" or something/some things like that. That may even become mutators (with a "mix what you want" style).
- To help selling Roid Rage you may make something like "You have 10 tries with the thing you have 'unlocked' and then it'll be locked again until you Butter up". This may piss off some guys but also help the other understand why paying may be a good idea.


Bug/Weird thing:
- Sometimes there are 3 or more juice on a really limited space (I've had up to 5 juice on my screen)


Once again those are questions, suggestions, and feelings and I know most of my suggestions would be hard to implement (and it may not even seem interesting to you) but I give them because well... We never know.
The same goes with the feeling/juice feedback. It's my personal thoughts.
In other words: You are the bosses and I'll love your games no matter what!

@Ulnarevern? these are all damn good, and things we've actually discussed in house. BUT. truth be told, our interest in updating RR is to get it integrated into the BSID system, and then move on to the final integrations with TF2 and QR, then (finally!) get to work on some new stuff.

So in short, YES TO ALL OF THESE. but as a studio strategy, NO TO ALL OF THESE!

Plus this way you get Narwhal and Crashlands faster ^^

No problem about it, as I wrote it is more just to be sure that you didn't miss ideas but from all the discussions we had on the forum, I know that you already had most of the ideas I suggest. :smile:
And I would add that it is probably even better to keep some ideas so that you can update it in a far future and recreate some interest about your games.

I also feel there can be a lot of upgrades to make roid rage more interesting but I want crashlands... lol. Is there any point to the interns? Also minor but for the bsid keyboard could you add a caps lock and change the shift button to only be for a single letter?

Yep, we could do ALL OF THE THINGS. But we, too, want to work on other stuff.

We can probably do a shift vs caps lock deal. WE'LL ADD IT TO THE LIST.

Minor "bug": I have to re-select the vessel every time I start the game. It's weird since it's not the case for the intern.

2 perks appear double... and I also already had the 10 friends perk but it went missing but I've got it again :)

Also I really don't think that i've played 236 games and collected 939 Juice... seems way to much but I don't know
And in the leaderbord first and second place always appear double

@bsb333 All of this stuff is FIXED and will appear in the updated version. And your number of deaths may indeed be correct, it's amazing how many times you die in this game! My numbers are even higher..
