We're definitely moving away from the free-to-play model, unless there's a REALLY compelling reason not to go premium for our next game. Premium games are much more in our wheelhouse!

They also tend to be much more fun! I'd rather pay up front and get one solid game than get hit with micro-transactions throughout the game.

Actually there's a game where it's optional (even if it makes you life easier, it's not *required*, especially after a few things). Like, watch a vid to get more special in game currency, and you can deactivate that option.

It's far from being the best, or even a good alternative, but for some reason I don't really mind for this game.

Yeah... incentivized video ads are the least awful of the ad monetization setups, since you can opt-in to them typically, rather than having them jump up into your face mid-game!
