Must say, that was a pretty satisfying answer to my question , so thanks for that, was on a walk while listening, so people probably thought I was crazy as I burst out laughing while walking by people. Kinda curious tho, how many overall listens does each podcast usually get? I listen on SoundCloud and seems like mid 200's is the averageaverage, but haven't looked at the other services

Also, as a Pharm Tech, I sell buttloads of meds to people, and there is quite a few drugs that help with GERD.......could always use one of those

OH YEAH, I'm on 80mg of omperazole. 40 didn't do anything. We'll so how this goes, and what my endoscopy looks like.

As for number of listens: yeah, it's 200+ for the majority of episodes, via SoundCloud. We host on SoundCloud, and iTunes and Stitcher (as well as any other podcast service) use the SoundCloud RSS feed. As far as we can tell, the stats reflect listens across all those things, unless there are any sites mirroring our uploaded files. We're probably not popular enough for that yet

We're hoping for some pretty big numbers, eventually. But we're new, haven't made our name as a studio yet, and have a lot of competition. We just enjoy blowing off steam by making this thing, and figure it's better to slowly grow an audience with regular content, so that if we do get big there will be a large backlog for all the newbs.

Oh dang! That's quite high, hopefully the results won't be anything serious. Yeah that makes sense, and I suppose even if you think about it as if you guys are sitting in front of 200-300 people in the room every week it's not bad . So are the plans more or less to do a podcast every week for as long as the studio goes? So will literally be up into the thousands of episodes at some point?
