How do you assign keyboard shortcuts?

I saw on a youtube video someone had assigned keys to their potions and whatnot but I cant find any settings for this. How do you do it? I'm playing on a Chromebook.

If it's the Steam version you ought to be able to change keyboard shortcuts from the main menu. I think the Android version has that turned off. But @bscotchseth or @BscotchShi would definitely know more than me!
